MISSION, HISTORY & VISION
From its start in 2004 offering residential mortgage services, Norman Capital Mortgage continues to provide financial services, but now primarily commercial mortgage products, and unsecured lines of credit to the small business community. The company is based in Texas, but can service all of the United States.
The managing partner has worked in the commercial credit sector for a number of years, has the credit analysis background to assess risks and funding partners to close clients quickly. It doesn't matter if you need SBA or conventional commercial loan products, we have the experience and funding partners to get funding quickly.
Our corporate mission is to provide funding to small business owners, so that they have sufficient capital to maintain operations, and even expand.
We strive to not simply be a transactional partner to our clients, but be a long-term capital funding source that they can rely on, as long as they operate their businesses.
The team at Norman Capital Mortgage is small, but effective. From application, analysis, underwriting, and the closing process, we are efficient and work hard to acquire funding for our clients. Some of our tasks is outsourced to very experienced individuals to help the operation run smoothly. See the bios below of the founder and administrator.
Rod Norman is the Managing Partner and founder of Norman Capital Mortgage (NCM). Mr. Norman began his finance career in 1990 as a Commercial Credit Staff Analyst for Bank One, which is now Chase. Subsequent career moves included positions as an SBA Servicing Officer at Wells Fargo, where he managed a $20MM loan portfolio. His success led him to be Assistant Vice President and loan officer in the middle markets commercial lending division at Bank of America. In 2004, during the residential housing boom, he established Norman Capital Mortgage. Rod is married to Gill (Jill) Norman, and through their blended family have four children. As an aside, Rod was a partner with his wife in a pet sitting business called Jack and Jill Pet Sitters located in Southlake, TX. The business was sold in 2021. Lastly, Rod is a drummer and has played a drum kit since the age of 5.
Gill (Jill) Norman is the Client Account Administrator and has been a partner since the firm's inception.
Before partnering with her husband Rod, Jill served in the medical and weight loss industries and earned 2 health coaching certifications in the early 2000's.
After helping countless men and women lose weight and regain their health and self-confidence, Jill decided to switch gears and go into business for herself. She and husband Rod successfully operated a pet sitting business for the last 14 years in Southlake, TX. After selling the business in 2021, she decided to focus on Norman Capital Mortgage with Rod. Jill is a US Army Veteran and a mother of four children. She's a grandmother of 2 beautiful girls, who loves music and traveling.
